Nadeau – New Rear Façade / Interior Renovation

Powers & Associates provided Design-Build services to W&M Partnership Fund for this retail renovation located in historic building in downtown Homewood, AL. This building was originally a theater from the 20s through 60s, but has been a bike shop until we took on the project. We were able to help accommodate the needs of the new retailer (Nadeau) while also featuring a warm display of rich history. The remnants from the old theater have been hiding for all of those years. Fortunately, we were able to reveal and incorporate them into our design. This historic preservation project came with many challenges, but we worked closely with our client as well as the new tenant to overcome them and bring a vision to life.
